Aussibum donation

We have received a generous donation of clothing from Aussiebum to use for club fund raising.

The club would like to give them many thanks for their support – club members are looking forward to wearing the items!

Kookaburra donation

To help club funds Kookaburra have very kindly donated 2 mini bats signed by Steven Davies , the first out cricketer. These will be raffled along with a pair of signed Owais Shah one day pads. Many thanks to Kokaburra for their generosity.

LGBT History Month

LGBT History Month

Grace’s have been invited to take part in this year’s LGBT sport history month at the Oval. We will have a stall so come along and say hi!

There will be seminars throughout the day and the culture secretary will be there to give a speech about advances in inclusiveness of the LGBT in sports.

Our club president – Bob Ballard – will be co-hosting the evening events.

Grace's at Number 10

Grace’s were lucky enough to receive an invitation to David Cameron’s annual LGBT reception at number 10 Downing Street. This year there was a sports theme.

Dom and Jonners were the club’s representatives at this prestigious evening.

The opportunity was taken to network with many other sports clubs and organisation raising our profile in the LGBT community.

Sporting icons present included Billie Jean King and Ben Cohen who informed Grace’s that he hates cricket!

Sadly there was no sign of Steven Davies.
